BRIEF STRATEGIC STATEMENT
The CAIPE Awards Task group will oversee the development and implementation of CAIPE Awards. To be supported by others; Board, Individual, Student or Service User in the development and implementation of these awards in sub committees of:
CAIPE Fellow Nomination Committee: Chair, Vice Chairs, Lead Research Group, Lead International Group.
John Horder Award: Richard Gray, Chris Sanders, Chair and or Vice Chairs

OUTCOMES 2017-18
1. Award of CAIPE Honorary Fellow to Richard Gray and Dawne Gurbutt June 2018.
2. First Individual Member Bursary awarded to Heloise Agreli of £500 towards costs of attending and presenting at ATBHIX, Auckland, New Zealand.
3. John Horder Lecture jointly sponsored by CAIPE and the Royal Society of Medicine, General Practice with Primary Healthcare Section Team Award of £1500 to the Lambeth Early Action Partnership (LEAP) and Pre-registration Student Award of £150 to Danial Naqvi.
4. Student Bursary: Post-graduate student award of £500 to Priya Martin and Pre-registration student award of £500 to Kalyaani Vickneswaran to assist with costs of attending and presenting at ATBHIX, Auckland, New Zealand.

The CAIPE International Liaison Group aims to……
Promote and develop international interprofessional education and learning with the CAIPE membership
Collaborate with like-minded individuals and organisations nationally and globally in interprofessional education, learning and practice
Collaborate with International Stakeholders, Statutory, Professional and Regulatory Bodies in the promotion and development of IPE/IPL
Act as a working group within the CAIPE board bringing international expertise to CAIPE
Represent CAIPE as an international voice on IPE/IPL in both academia and the workplace.
Provide information and advice to CAIPE members and visitors to the website on international perspectives through activities, publications, and workshops.
Promote interest in CAIPE’s activities and membership through international networking

BRIEF STRATEGIC STATEMENT
To support colleagues in HE with accessible resources to enhance and extend IPE working and to explore new pedagogic innovations which could be used in IPE.
PROPOSED ACHIEVEMENTS
- Prepared workshops on key areas and exploration of online seminars and webinars
- Work on a shared article exploring adaptation and evolution of IPE during lockdown and beyond
- Raise awareness of IPE resources and the role that IPE educators play in creative and complex modes of education as a conduit for increasing recognition of IPE and extending/embedding provision
- Explore the experiences of Interdisciplinary modes such as Schwartz Rounds and their usefulness in the wider suite of IPE activity in Institutions
OUTCOMES
Two workshop proposals have been created around existing identified themes. Further areas of interest have been generated around the response to COVID19 – workshop content to be generated and delivery modes to be explored.
IPE in Lockdown guest editorial for CAIPE newsletter published in June,2020. Work ongoing to put together a paper on the same topic.
Work ongoing on a position paper on Schwartz Rounds, a small working group is emerging around this area.
Group members are also exploring the possibility of visits to each others’ institutions to raise the profile of CAIPE and also share best practice around strategically embedding IPE in HE provision.

The research group have three broad strategic aims:
- To enhance CAIPE’s excellent scholarly reputation
- To capture and disseminate CAIPE’s existing interprofessional scholarship activities
- To provide a more prominent role for research and evaluation across the CAIPE membership
Through the achievement of these aims, it is anticipated that the group will help advance IPE research/evaluation activities for CAIPE and its membership.

Collaborate with interprofessional student bodies at universities within the United Kingdom

Student mentoring by Qualified healthcare professional.
Act as a working group within the CAIPE board bringing student experience to CAIPE.
Steering group with service users, patients and healthcare professionals and students to create educational tools in order to enhance inter-professional practice that includes “ lived experience”.
Be interactive online via website, run workshops, roadshows and quizzes via social media and University and Student Society IPE days.
Promote interest in CAIPE’s activities and membership through student networking
