ANNOUNCING THE NEXUS SUMMIT 2023 SEMINAR SHOWCASE!

Free Webinar Showcase Featuring Nexus Summit 2023 Seminars, Offered from March to July

We are pleased to announce that the Nexus Summit 2023 Seminar Showcase will begin on March 19, 2024! The seminar showcase features nine of the highest rated peer-reviewed seminars from the Nexus Summit 2023 and covers topics including artificial intelligence (AI), longitudinal assessment strategies, team well-being, health equity, multi-institutional models, and interprofessional advocacy, among others.

Offered from March to July 2024, the Nexus Summit 2023 Seminar Showcase will provide an opportunity to learn from, with, and about the work being done to improve practice, education and health for those we serve.

NEW 2024 TRAIN-THE-TRAINER DATES ANNOUNCED!

May 13-16, hosted virtually by the University of Texas at Austin

The University of Texas at Austin invites you to a specialized training experience that combines immersive learning, expert consultation, and dedicated time to guide your team’s project development.

Date and Location: May 13-16, 2024 / Synchronous and virtual via Zoom

Audience: Practitioners, educators, administrators, and other professionals involved in health, health care delivery, and/or health care education.

Trainers: Health care leaders and educators with expertise in interprofessional team-based care, curricular design, assessment, and evaluation.

T3 Characteristics:

  • Team science
  • Project focused
  • Interactive
  • Experiential learning modules
  • Consultation and ongoing support
UT Austin’s Center for Health Interprofessional Practice and Education coordinates T3 and partners with the National Center Office of Interprofessional Continuing Professional Development to award interprofessional continuing education credits.

Registration can be completed through the National Center website. Teams must consist of at least 3 people from at least 2 different professions.

We are thrilled to announce that the annual Nexus Summit will be held this year on September 25-26 and September 30 – October 1! The Nexus Summit 2024 marks the ninth year of theinterprofessional practice and education community coming together to learn about, from, and with each other in the Nexus of practice and education as we strive to impact health and learning outcomes that matter most to the people we serve.

This year the conference will once again be held virtually to empower the most accessible engagement from the national and global interprofessional practice and education community.

Senior and Emerging Leadership Programs – Priority Deadline February 15

There is still time to join! Two new NexusIPE Leadership Forum Programs have been released. Apply today to participate in unique knowledge-based leadership programs designed for emerging and senior leaders.  The forums are designed to develop and apply skills within the context of your own environment, and will kick off in April 2024. The Leadership Forums are designed to support a local Leadership Project and facilitated through collaborative learning anchored in real-world situations. The American Interprofessional Health Collaborative (AIHC) leadership is extending an open invitation to attend the next All-Member Meeting on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at 2-3:30 p.m. CT.

Join AIHC leaders as they share updates on the new AIHC structure and opportunities for engagement as well as host a conversation about the 2023 IPEC competency revision. Joseph A. Zorek, PharmD, BCGP, FNAP, one of the lead authors and editors of the 3rd version, will join the discussion. This is an open meeting.
