The National Center Pioneer Award recognizes leaders in IPE, particularly those who have contributed to the early iterations of what interprofessional practice and education. Certainly, CAIPE and your work represents decades-long commitment and investment in scholarship, education, and practice, not only in the United Kingdom, but across the globe.
We have worked with Professor Elizabeth Anderson and Dr. Angela Lennox, CAIPE Co-Chairs, who have created a lovely video tribute that will be featured on the Nexus Summit and National Center websites. Additionally, as the Nexus Summit is virtual this year, National Center Director Christine Arenson will be recognizing CAIPE and you during a plenary session on Thursday, September 28.
