The East Midlands Research into Ageing Network (EMRAN) is hosting a Collaboration Event on Thursday 16th November 2017 at the Nottingham Belfry Hotel, Mellors Way (Off Woodhouse Way), Nottingham, NG8 6PY. This Collaboration Event will consist of themed workshops which will provide a brief overview of research being conducted in the region before moving on to small group discussions to try to generate potentially tractable research questions to take forward with other interested collaborators in the East Midlands and beyond. Delegates are asked to select one workshop they would like to attend in the morning and one to attend in the afternoon. Workshops are as follows:
· Healthy Ageing – Morning
· Dementia – Morning
· Frailty – Afternoon
· Care Home Medicine – Afternoon
We are also delighted to be able to have Dr. Samir Sinha to discuss the Acute Care for Elders Strategy at the Canadian Foundation for Healthcare Improvement at Mount Sinai hospital in Toronto.
If you are interested and would like to attend, please e-mail Chris Craig on email@example.com or call 01158 231279 and I will be happy to register you. Patient and Public representatives will be given an expenses form to cover all reasonable travel expenses if wishing to attend the event.
