The second Twitter Chat organised by the CAIPE student committee took place on Thursday 24th August. Our topic was “How should service users and carers be involved in Interprofessional Education?” Despite taking place during the summer this event was extremely lively and wide-ranging. Participants included students, service users and carers, educators and clinicians, many new to CAIPE. We exchanged ideas on a variety of topics related to service user and carer involvement and made some new contacts.
There were approx. 15 participants from the UK and 1 student rep from Brazil, 50 tweets, 45 replies, 37 retweets, 47 likes and 2 links clicks during the hour.
In future these Twitter chats will take place on the last Thursday in the month, 19.00 – 20.00 UK time. The next topic will be, “Changing behaviour of patients and professionals for active participation in interprofessional collaboration” on Thursday 28th September. https://www.caipe.org/news/caipe-twitter-chat-thursday-28-september-700-pm-800-pm
